Terms of Use

These terms set the rules for playing Eggsaurus, using its online leaderboards and buying the optional Premium Forever upgrade. We have kept them as clear and game-specific as possible.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and DOGSI Team, the independent Portuguese developer of Eggsaurus. By downloading, playing or using the online features of Eggsaurus, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are not legally old enough to agree to these Terms where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you and supervise purchases. Do not use Eggsaurus if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

2. Permission to use the game

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to install and use Eggsaurus for private, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform from which you obtained it.

This permission does not transfer ownership. You may not sell, rent, redistribute, extract or commercially exploit the game or its assets, bypass security, or reverse engineer Eggsaurus except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits and does not allow that right to be waived.

3. Leaderboards and player names

Eggsaurus creates a random installation-based player ID—without an email/password account—to submit scores to World, Region and Country leaderboards. Your display name, country/region, best score, best egg count and rank may be visible publicly.

You are responsible for your player name. It must not:

  • contain unlawful, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or abusive content;
  • impersonate another person, organisation, DOGSI Team or a public authority;
  • include personal contact details or another person’s private information;
  • infringe intellectual-property or other rights; or
  • advertise, spam or direct players to harmful content.

We may reject, change or remove names and scores, restrict leaderboard access, or reset rankings where reasonably necessary to moderate content, correct errors, prevent cheating, protect the service or comply with law. If you believe action was taken in error, contact lui21andrew@gmail.com.

4. Premium Forever

Eggsaurus can be played free of charge and offers an optional one-time Google Play product, premium_lifetime, shown as Premium Forever. At the time of these Terms, Premium provides four starting hearts per run and removes Eggsaurus banner, interstitial and rewarded-ad prompts. It is not a subscription.

The price and applicable taxes are shown by Google Play before purchase and may vary by country. Payment, purchase history, refunds and restoration are processed by Google Play and may also be governed by Google’s terms. Premium is for personal use through the purchasing Google account and may not be sold or transferred.

Use Restore Purchase in the Premium screen after reinstalling or moving to a supported device signed in to the purchasing account. Statutory refund and consumer rights remain unaffected. See our support page for purchase help.

5. Advertising

Free versions may show Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads and may offer optional rewarded ads for in-game benefits. Third-party ad content is provided by advertisers and Google, not endorsed by DOGSI Team. Interactions with external ads or sites are subject to their own terms and privacy notices.

Premium Forever removes ads served inside Eggsaurus while the entitlement is active. It does not change advertisements shown by other apps, websites, Google Play or the operating system.

6. Fair play and acceptable use

You must not:

  • submit fabricated scores or use bots, modified clients, automation or exploits;
  • probe, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the leaderboard service;
  • circumvent purchase, advertising, moderation or technical protections;
  • introduce malware or interfere with another player’s experience; or
  • use Eggsaurus or its services for an illegal purpose.

We may suspend access, remove data or take proportionate technical or legal action for violations. Where appropriate, we will consider context and provide a way to contact us.

7. Updates and availability

We work to keep Eggsaurus and its leaderboards available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, provider outages or circumstances outside our control.

We may update, rebalance, add or remove game features. If we discontinue an online feature or the game, we will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes where practical. You may stop using Eggsaurus and remove it at any time.

8. Ownership

Eggsaurus, its software, artwork, characters, interface, text, branding, audio and other original content are owned by or licensed to DOGSI Team and protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party software and assets remain subject to their respective licences.

If you send optional feedback, you allow us to use it without payment or obligation, but you retain ownership of any rights you already hold. Do not send confidential business information through ordinary support email.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Eggsaurus is provided for entertainment on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not make additional warranties about uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, preservation of local progress or the content of third-party ads.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DOGSI Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of Eggsaurus. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also retain any mandatory protections and right to bring proceedings that the law of your country of residence provides. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally.

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. Our delay in enforcing a term does not waive it.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect game, provider or legal changes. The effective date above will change, and material changes will receive additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not, stop using and uninstall the game.
